Hong Kong Electronics Fair Shows Strength of Midea’s White Home Appliances
The 2006 Autumn Hong Kong Electronics Fair was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center October 13-16, attended by nearly 2,000 electronic enterprises from over 10 countries and above 60,000 visitors, an increase of about 20% than the last fair. This time, Midea applied for an exhibition space of 240 square meters, located at the best place of the Brand Collection Hall. With the largest exhibition area in the hall, Midea competed with Haier, Hisense, TCL and other famous enterprises. The design of Midea’s exhibition space highlighted its new logo in the overall image display area. The signs, cabinets and background in each product area were also designed in strict accordance with the Midea VI (Visual Identity) standard. This was to enhance visitors’ perceptual impression of the new Midea VI through all-around visual display. The departments of household appliances (including drinking water dispensers), microwave ovens, environmental appliances, dishwashers and kitchen appliances attended this fair, and the Household Air-conditioner Department of Refrigeration Appliance Group attended for the first time. As a result, the exhibits in this fair covered most of Midea’s range of white goods, with a total of over 250 units. This was the most comprehensive display ever of Midea on the Hong Kong Electronics Fair and showed Midea’s strength and determination to further expand, strengthen its business in the white goods field. |
