Central Air-conditioners Unveiled in CR Expo
The 17th China Refrigeration Expo was held in Shanghai New International Expo Center on April 11th-13th, 2006. The Midea central air-conditioner, with products in 12 series, was unveiled in this expo as the No. 3 in the world and the largest in Asia. This was the third time Midea had attended the CR Expo, bringing along a number of world-class techniques and products. Within the exhibition stand of about 200 square meters, such products as the third-generation digital swirl parallel unit, the large centrifugal water chillers, and the central water heaters with air source heat pump were all eye-catching in the expo. The theme of Midea"s central air-conditioner at the expo was "energy conservation, environmental protection and high-tech". Products at the expo were all energy-conserving and environmentally friendly ones with advanced technologies in the industry. Among other things, the third-generation digital swirl parallel unit is a major technical breakthrough in the domain. With the digital swirl technology of the US Copeland Company, free combination is possible for a parallel modular unit with 2HP as a level and 64HP as the maximum, representing the most advanced multiple techniques of air-conditioners in the current world. In addition, Midea is the first Chinese enterprise to exhibit large "centrifugal water chillers" in the CR Expo, thanks to the fact that it is the only Chinese enterprise independently engaged in the design, R&D, and manufacture of the equipment. Midea also displayed a new product of non-air-conditioning this time, i.e., the central water heaters with air source heat pump, with an obvious edge in energy conservation and environmental protection. According to Midea"s technical experts of central air-conditioning, heat pump central water heaters have already been applied extensively in the Japanese and European markets. Midea began to develop this type of product two years ago, and has discovered excellent performance and benefits after the trial in the market of southern China, The product may be greatly promoted in regions to the south of the Yangtze River, and is suitable for hotels, school and factory dormitories, as well as sports and entertainment centers, saving more than 60% of energy compared with traditional devices using fuel or electricity. |
