General Principle Midea Lighting is proud to offer a very competitive and aggressive distributor policy. This overview intended to identify our goals, expectations and policies in working with our distributors. We do not enter into distributor relationships casually – we want to form long-term, mutually beneficial, and strategic partnerships. Midea Lighting Distributor Principle 1. The distributor will be Midea Lighting strategic partner in the international market. 2. Bind in work together for the local market, the target is to be the industry leader in the local market, and to occupy the main market share 3. Long term cooperation, development together, strategic partnership.
In order to ensure our distributors are successful, Midea Lighting provides the following services to their distributors: 1. Authorize the distributor sales the Midea brand product in local marekt, share the Midea brand value 2. No charge for reasonable quantities of product brochures and other marketing materials 3. Support the local market advertisement, like industry magazine, Newspaper, POP, outdoor,TV, etc, according the Midea marketing strategy. 4. Support and invest some local lighting fair with distributors 5. Support for the related product promotion activities and material, push the sales increase. 6. Annual Distributor training/update meeting 7. Joint sponsorship of approved sales seminars 8. Assign midea marketing staff to work with distributor for develop the local market, 2~3 times in annual. Distributor Criteria and condition Midea Lighting products are considered high quality and customers will expect the distributor to provide technical sales expertise, application support, and to be the first contact for customer support. Therefore, Midea distributors must meet the following criteria: Criteria 1. Have the ability to identify, target, and implement sales objectives/goals for their authorized Territory 2. Have the sales and technical capability to create demand, market, sell, distribute and properly recommend Midea lighting products for customer applications 3. Represent Midea lighting who provide complimentary products and services that support the marketing and application efforts of Midea lighting Core Product Strategy 4. Have the ability to provide local customer service and basic technical support services
Number to be appointed Midea Lighting follows a policy of limited distribution. We will appoint a minimum number of distributors sufficient to: 1. Achieve sales and support objectives for Midea lighting products within the authorized territory 2. Ensure distributor has reasonable opportunity for reward and to have a profitable relationship with Midea The agreement The Distribution Agreement fully outlines the responsibilities of each party. Separately, a Mutual Business Plan is updated at least annually and serves as the marketing and business plan for Midea and the Distributor. |
